Founded in 1995 Chess Designs is a family business, which wholesales exclusive furnishing fabrics from its Chesham base set in the picturesque Chiltern Hills.

The exclusive collections feature prints, woven fabrics and silks, which are all created, styled and coloured to our particular specifications.

The company’s reputation for the variety of excellent designs and qualities is built on the close working relationships which we have developed with weavers and printers who are committed to producing fabrics of the highest standard.

A computerised system facilitates the efficient processing and despatch of all orders and a well organised sampling department supports with cuttings and larger returnable samples by request.
